Redstone Paint Out

Join us Memorial Day Weekend in Redstone as local artists showcase original Plein Air Art inspired by the gorgeous scenery of the Crystal River Valley.

Eight amazing local artists have been invited by the Redstone Art Foundation to paint en Plein Air beginning Wednesday, May 26th. We will welcome the artists back from the field and display their completed work beginning Saturday, May 29th in the shops along Redstone Blvd.

Don’t miss the chance to see local original art, learn about the creative process and take a painting home with you. Vote for your favorites and enjoy a fun weekend in Redstone.

EVENT SUMMARY:

Saturday, May 29th, 3pm - 6pm

Come stroll the Redstone Boulevard and visit with our 8 local artists and see their finished canvases. Go to our Plein Artists page to learn more about our Redstone Paint Out Artists!

As you stop at each shop to visit with the artists and learn all about their creative process. We ask that you submit a ballot and let us know your favorite. At the same time our panel of 3 judges will be doing the same.

At 5pm, we all meet up at Propaganda Pizza for the Awards Ceremony.
1st, 2nd, 3rd and of course the People’s Choice Awards.
Apres Ceremony, a good time for pizza!

Sunday, May 30th, 9am - 3pm

Register for the QuickDraw painting. Spend the next 2-3 hours creating your own art to enter into the auction right along with our other Plein Air Artists.

We will donate 50% of these proceeds to the Redstone Art Foundations Scholarship fund.

Join us at the Redstone Art Gallery @1pm, for a fun afternoon of auctioning original art and supporting all of our local artists!
