Dione Holt

Dione Holt is a Colorado-based landscape artist working predominantly in oil and gouache.  Dione has a bachelor of chemical engineering and left a 20-year career as an engineer to pursue a career in the arts. She has studied painting and drawing at the Houston and Denver Art Students leagues and is currently studying painting under Scott Christensen's "Adventure of Painting" series. 

Dione teaches painting classes locally and has had paintings juried into the Plein Air Artists of Colorado National exhibition, the Crested Butte Plein Air Invitational, and other exhibitions in the Western Slope Region. 

Dione organizes weekly plein air paint outs for the Plein Air Artists of Colorado local group, is a board member for the Redstone Arts Foundation, and is a committee member for the Blue Sage Center for the Arts in Paonia, CO.
